Armando

Armando has been with me since October 2015. Armando has the appearance and movements of a 'typical' warmblood dressage horse. Through the years he has developed a severe tongue problem (as an expression of underlying problems in his body / mind). After online contact and subsequent appointments for rehabilitation (training), the owner entrusted me with it and since then he has remained.

He (once again) had to learn to be a horse and to recover from a lot of (old) injuries. After a long period he increasingly dared to show his own character: sweet, calm, leadership, stubborn and a real 'guy': sometimes a bit clumsy, sometimes somewhere else with his thoughts.

Since spring 2017, his training has been carefully picked up in small steps and this is going very well! Work on hand / lunge, (classic) dressage under the saddle and outdoor rides. He also starts to show more and more interaction (for example, grunts as soon as he feels that an exercise is going well and then he stops for a moment and turns his head like this: yes, I succeeded, this was okay, would you like to reward me with a candy?
