Phase I
Biological foundations
Develop a deeper understanding of equine anatomy and physiology that lays
the foundation for all later learning.
After completing this phase, you will be able to interpret the horse’s body beyond textbook anatomy, recognizing how structure and physiology dynamically support movement, behavior, and health in the living horse.
Modules in this phase:
Module 1. Structural foundations

Gain an in-depth perspective
of the horse inside out through comparative anatomy, dissections and scientific research.
Module 2. Systems Physiology

Learn how the horse's body functions. Explore the processes that keep the horse alive and how they adapt to the environment and maintain homeostasis.
